I have installed and tried this module on Joomla 2.5.7 and Virtuemart 2.0.12b with no issues.
Although not getting the discount added to cart part in text, but that could be a template issue.
I hope the developers don't mind and am sorry if it was wrong to post but I wanted to add a little explanation to the module so people understood it.
Here is how I did it
BACK UP THE FILES FIRST:
in ROOT/language/YOUR LANGUAGE/**.**.mod_fb_like_virtuemart.ini
on the last line add MOD_FB_LIKE_VIRTUEMART_EXPLAIN="add your own text but keep it short"
in ROOT/modules/mod_fb_like_virtuemart/tmpl/default.php
line 22 or between <div id="contains"></div> and <div class="vm_s_d_providers"> add <?php echo JText::_('MOD_FB_LIKE_VIRTUEMART_EXPLAIN');?>
you are done, your module will now display the text you wrote.
Maybe the developers will add something like this in the next release as I am sure it will tempt more people.

We do not mind it at all. We are all ears to get suggestions from the clients, if they have any, on how to make this module even better.
Regarding explanation, you may give title appropriate just like we have done on our site http://www.thakkertech.com/ (http://www.thakkertech.com/) so in this way if you do not change code then also people will get idea how to use it or what benefit they will get after like/share.
Because personally I think if you put a "?" and explanation in the bubble of clicking the "?" no one will go to read it. So better way to do make it easy for users is to give proper caption in module manager. But yes it depends upon site admin how they wish to represent it to their uses.
