how do I change the subject line on emails sent  from COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_SHOPPER_

Hello,

Go to /language/your language/xx_xx.com_virtuemart.ini where xx-XX is your language (en-GB for english)

Translate the lines you want (refers to  more line COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_SHOPPER_xxxx)

I still have this problem and,,, what I understand, the constant shows up in the subject line, not the value and the constant can't be changed or in any way translated or shouldn't even be published.
Sure, this has been solved by somebody by now?

Just would like to add, this might be essential, that this subject only displays when order is payed with Paypal.

Is it simply so, I need to create the constant in the override ( COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_SHOPPER_W ) for the payment method "W" (In my case Paypal) and then just copy the value from the other constants for the subject?

Constant: COM_VIRTUEMART_MAIL_SUBJ_SHOPPER_W
String: [%3$s], Skickade beställning från %1$s, totalt %2$s --- In Swedish: "Sent order from"

Theres a plugin - http://www.interamind.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=76&Itemid=84 - but you have to pay for it.

In the extension you can change the subject line and body, if thats what you want?

Yes, but after updating mu Joomla and Virtuemart, I didn't re-install this extension and now I am having big trouble fining the downloaded installation file. (xxx.zip) It should be somewhere on my HDD, but I can't find it. Do you happen to know the file name or the folder? I can't download it from Interamind again, since I bought the extension almost two years ago.

No I haven't bought it yet as I'm waiting for my comapny and client to decide on it. I'll let you know when we've got it.

It might have "Interamind" in the file name since thats the company.

Thanks. I've searched for "interamind" without any luck. I have also posted a support ticket to them. Hopefully I will get an answer after the weekend.
