I am working with Virtuemart 2.0.10
So, here is the link to my registration:

The "edit.php" file is the original one, I do not use any overrides at the moment.
I saw that when you submit the registration form you are kind of logged in (although the Joomla backend does not show me the new User as logged in).
Are cookies the reason for this? because when I open the registration link with another Browser the Account Activation is succesful.

I'm also having this kind of issue on our development site. This is somehow a very important bug to be fixed, still got no modifications for this? If there is someone who made this work correctly pleas let us know...
