I just released a new extension for vm2.0 about bulk price update, you can download it in my website here :bulk price update for virtuemart 2.0 (http://www.joomlavm.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2406&p=2533#p2533) .
How to install it?
there are two steps as following :
1. unzip the zip file, and upload the files to the joomla root path.
2. excute the sql file - priceupdate.sql with the host tool - phpmyadmin.
How to use it ?
1.vm backend - tools- priceUpdate
2.Input the percent value that you want to update the price into the textbox, then click the submit button.bulkPriceUpdate will finish the update immediately.

The instructions with your extension talks about increasing prices by percentage, so I was wondering can it be used to increase the prices individually, e.g. product 1 is £5 (new price £5.99), product 2 £6 (new price £6.55). Basically not fixed amount to rise all are varied.
Also if you had any demos or screenshots on how this works where could I see this?

Use CSVI for this type of item editing, you can alos use it for lots of other export/import functions

I get a error when I import the sql file.

It work for Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3. Can mass update prices with operator -,+,* eg. -10 or *1.2
But works for all product fields and languages
