Title: Since VM2 is broken, is there someone I can pay to fix it?
Post by: daviator on March 28, 2012, 14:35:04 PM
I'm getting desperate. My client's site is still not functioning due the bugs in VM2.0.2.  There are no docs and no answers on these forums. I can only conclude that the silence is due to the fact the software is truly broken.

I don't have much (this is a project for a friend) but I can offer $100 US via paypal to anyone who can help solve my shipping, tax and price display issues. Partial payments can be made if you can help solve some of the issues.

Please respond here or PM me if interested.

Of course it is not broken as there are already live sites out there despite VM2 only being available for 3 months.
eg http://crazyhotcouture.com  http://www.nympheaestetica.com  http://www.lawweapons.org  http://www.canadianmademukluks.com

And now the commercial template designers are catering for VM2, such as http://demo.gavick.com/joomla16/jan2012/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=virtuemart&Itemid=410.

Yes there are still some small bugs and niggles in the last stable version VM2.0.2, which are being actively worked on and further functions are being added, with regular test releases for forum members to try before the next stable release.

Then how come no one has answers to why simply things are not working?

BTW, I went to http://crazyhotcouture.com and tried  to add items to my cart. I added 2 but the cart always showed as empty.

And canadianmademukliks.com has CSS issues wither that add to cart popup. (Show "car") (http://daviator.com/images/cart-issue.jpg)
