Problems upgrading latest products module

I have upgraded my site, but I have some problems with the latestprod module. I'm a newbie on this, but as far as I understand from my documentation on the new template, I have to upgrade it from version 1.1.0 to 1.1.4.

Even if i uninstall the old one and install the new one it makes no difference. It still comes up as version 1.1.0.

I have WM 1.1.4 and Joomla 1.5.15.

Where is my problem?

The upgrade from 1.1.0 to 1.1.4 don't work. I can uninstall the 1.1.0 module and install the 1.1.4 module and everything seems to be correct. But the module still comes up as version 1.1.0

ARE you talking about the virtuemart component?

IF so, how did you upgrade, AND you know the current version is 1.1.8?
