Hello,

I'm running Virtuemart 1.1.8 on Joomla 1.5.23.

Everything seemed to be working fine and I was just about to launch my site when I discovered a big issue with the currencies. I've searched and found similiar issues, but not this exact one.

My store is based in Sweden so Swedish Krona (SEK) is my "main currency", but my customers are based all over the world so it's important for me to offer several currencies.

When using SEK, everything works perfectly and I've done several test purchases - everything works perfect.

But when selecting another currency, please see what happens when I checkout :


At step two of the checkout process, all looks good, and I select my shipping method (price is shown correctly as £4.65)


At step three, the shipping cost is all of a sudden changed to £0.45 instead.

I can't afford to ship my items this cheap Smiley.

Has anyone seen this before? If this issue has been discussed over and over already I'm dreadfully sorry.

I'm using the standard shipping module, I've done some small modifications but no core hacks really.

EDIT : Tried with another shipping module (Zone Shipping), still get the same problem. So it can't be a misconfigured standard shipping module that's 'causing this error.

EDIT2 :
Just realised that it's even more confusing at the last order step, please check this :




At the red "1", the correct shipping cost is shown.

But at the red "2", it's the incorrect one.

And sadly enough, it's the incorrect one that's get sent to the next step (the payment gateway)

EDIT 4 :

OK so I tried this on a plain "vanilla" installation of joomla 1.5.15 + vm 1.1.8 - still the exact same results.

I'm starting to think this is a bug... But I can't be the first one to discover this, right? Hmmm...

I really hate to bump my thread, but please, I would really like to know if anyone else have the same problem as I do, or if this is only me. Sorry for bumping. Please help me Smiley.
