Hi there,

first of all, I´m new here.... and like what is see!

Just playing around with VirtueMart at the moment and i wanna change a few things..

My questions;

- Is it allowed to change modify the VirtueMart thing?
- Is it allowed to remove the "VirtueMart Copyright and Logo"?

Hello,
VirtueMart is licensed under the GNU/GPL that allows you to modify just what you like in the script.
You can also turn off the Logo display in the shop configuration.
Consider a donation for the author please when you disable that.

 Huh I have tried to look for this area in the VirtueMart admin area but I cant seem to locate where the logo can be turned off, can you please clarify the exact location.

Oh sorry I found it!  Its under configuration-site-check box at the bottom.

i install the virtual mart image scroler module but the data come above the pict how to move at the bottom

- Inc Ex Tax on all customer facing pages.
- General reporting issues. (sales vat etc)
- Currency conversion
- Multiple images being created an product creation

The GNU/GPL licence does not allow you to remove the licence code comments in the files!!!

You are not allowed to pass this code off as your own work.

Being a bit nit picky, I think you can remove it but you can't then distribute it...

How do you know what I have done to the files in my system?
The OP did not say what they were going to do which is why I asked.

So the correct answer is (I think) Yes you can, but you can't distribute it, so why would you bother.

Of course you might want to do it to wring the last bit of speed out of your system, all those comments have to be processed!

IANAL and I am probably wrong!
