location of installation (folder protection)

I need some help, i have protected my administrator folder with a password

I installed the phpshop in my Mambo web site and added a product did some tests and was really happy.
Now the trick, i loged of as admin and tried it again, forget it, i get the password dialog window for the administrator folder ....

What to do?????

Hello,

try to move the directories classes, html, language and shop_image into the components/com_phpshop directory. Change the phpshop configuration to point to that directories....

Done, i have moved all files under the folder /administrator/components/com_phpshop to the location under /components.  it was not working i had to move also the files under the folder as well. So i had moved all the files and changed the configuration path ( deleted all the administrator in the pathnames)   Worked fine, then i get errors  and after it no shop in the site anymore.

So why don't you go into the file (php says which one! mod_phpshop.php) and change the value on that line 47? Become active!

Because i know so little of PHP and i see you use hardcoded path and variable :-(
will do my best, but i prefer to have it under the administrator folder, security is higher then.

Is there no way to have it there while the folder is password protected, the rest of mambo is working fine.
