Hello everyone,

I'm sure you're here for the same reason that I am: Your USPS shipping rates and options are no longer appearing on the checkout page of your site since the new rates went into effect today (Jan 2, 2011).

I've been surfing around and it appears that pretty much every e-commerce software is affected by this.

Any head-up on a fix from those who know how to do these things? Or is it a glitch on the USPS side? No one seems to know.

Let's get the discussion started so I can actually start selling items again!

Yes, we have the exact same problem.  Nothing shows up under shipping methods as of today.  I am hoping that some one will help soon!  With all the live sites not able to do shipping I am shocked that everyone isn't on here freaking out.  I know I am!

PLEASE SOMEONE HEEEELP!!

If you are using v4 I have posted an update at http://www.parkbeachsystems.com/latest/34-usps-module-for-virtuemart to resolve this issue.

I installed v4.2.1 and it works fine except that it won't display First Class Mail Flat.

Sorry. The First Class issue has been addressed with v4.2.2. It is located on my website at http://www.parkbeachsystems.com/latest/34-usps-module-for-virtuemart

Hi - I am having difficulty with this step:
Copy over the new files into the "/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/shipping" directory.  These include 3 files:

uspsv4.cfg.php
uspsv4.php
uspsv4.ini


Specifically I can not find this

/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/shipping

Nothing appears if I enter that not can I navigate in that order.  Is there a different way to get there?  Thank you

I have Joomla 1.0 and Virtuemart 1.0.15 and the shopping cart is not showing the USPS price like the other people in this thread. I do not know what files I need to updat my shipping codes can some one please direct me. he site is www.thehummingbirdstore.com thank you.

You update the files via FTP.

Hi. I am using Joomla 1.5.22, and Virtuemart 1.1.6.  I am getting the following error:

"Notice: We are unable to obtain any USPS shipping methods at this time, please choose from one of the following shipping methods."

I am using USPS Shipping module v4.2.2 from Park Bench Systems.  I've verified that the corrections for the code is installed.  I'm not sure what to do now to resolve my problem.

Hi guys.

I've fixed my own problem.  I had placed "http://" in the USPS Shipping Server path.  Once I removed that, it started working fine.

Thanks for anyone who may have started looking into this for me.
