Hi guys hope you can help.

I’m new to VM and I was wondering if the following is possible:

I know it sounds a bit strange but this is my customer requirements.
Is the following possible with VM?

i will develop a website that allows “sellers” to receive payments from “buyers”, the catch her that the buyers are actually donate to the “sellers” meaning there is no real products her, just people (buyers) donating to charity organizations (the sellers).

Is there a way I can use vm to accept amount entered by buyers (donators) to specific organization (sellers) and forwarded it to process on some payment gateway?

Naturally site administrator will need to track and monitor who donated how much to whom (believe me I’m laughing my self…)

i need this with tranzila payment gateway.

For accepting donation, you can take a look at the custom attribute extended hack: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=39666.0

You probably will need to develop a new payment module for the gateway you need. The mightyextensions.com site seems broken. Not sure what you need. PM me if you need further help.

The sellers (charities) should probably register in a tool like Sobi2 or Community Builder (CB). From there, it is possible to use the VM checkout process and payment plugins to handle payment. VM has fantastic support for checkout and payment, which sobi2 and CB don't have. So, indeed VM is the solution for payment.
