This is wierd. Just when an order is confirmed at my site, the following error appears:

Please select another shipping method.

I just have one shipping method and its automatically selected and theres no way you can unselect it.
The funny thing is that after the error appeared I went to shipping methods to check it out, after seeing that everything was fine I placed the order again and it worked without changing a thing.  Undecided

Anyone got a fix for this?  This is absurd.  I'm getting this issue a lot.  It happens once, then the next time I try to put the order through, or click the proceed button, it works?!

How can I track down and fix and issue fix such an issue, if it only happens sporadically.  It only takes one customer to get this issue and I have lost them for good.

I have only one shipping method activated.  It is a Free Delivery to the UK.  Post codes have been set: 000000 - 999999.  Shipping weight: 0.000 - 10.0000 (as expressed in other posts about this issue, which have no apparent fix, after all these years!).

I do not know what to do about this.  I have made sure the test account in question has filled out all details correctly - ie. That his postcode is within the UK and of the correct digits.

What else can be done?

I got the same error (not sporadically) and changed Configuration->Checkout tab->"Please select a Shipping Address!" from 0 to 1 (and checked). I had 0 because I did not want to show this on the final checkout page. When set back to 1, error disappeared.

If this field is left unchecked, the error does not appear.
