PayPal Pro Prolem - Australia

I am getting "errorcode=10550" when ever I am processing any Credit Card payments in the checkout.  I have the oprions of using PayPalExpress, and this works fine when I am paying direct from a paypal account but I can not get the Direct Payments workign.  Any help yould me muchly appreciated.

Configuration:
  Joomla! 1.5.11
  VirtueMart 1.1.3 (Manual_Installation_Package.j15)
  PayPalPro v1.0.51

PaypalPro module is setup, all API information is correct

Settings as follows:

Active?: Check
Payment Method Name: PayPal Pro
Code: PP_WPP
Payment class name: pp_paypal_wpp    
Payment method type: Credit Card

Accepted Credit Card Types:
 Visa
 MasterCard
 
Configuration as follows:
Sanbox Mode: No
Show PayPal Errors: Yes (so I can see the error)
Enable PayPal Express: Yes ( I have tried with this off and for same result
Enable Direct Payment: Yes
Check for CVV: Yes
Require Confirmed Shipping Addres: Yes (ahve tried with Off aswell)
API Account name: this is set and correct
API Password: this is set and correct
API Signature: this is set and correct
Use Proxy: No
Order Status' are Confirmed, Pending and Cancelled

This configuration is hosted in Australia, yet I see no problem why it should not work.

URGENT SOLUTION REQUIRED !!!!!!!
