Displaying Manufacturers on a Page

I want to display all the manufacturers on a we page (not on the sidebar as a module), if possible then with their images. Something like products, where we can list all the product categories on a page in Joomla by selecting the page type as virtuemart. Now, can I do the same for Manufacturers?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Yes its possible but you still need the module :).

First thing to do is follow this hack to have the possibility to have manufacturer images:

(just follow the complete thread - mainly page 1-2 and 4.

and then load the module with {loadpositin something} to the page where you want it to be.
