I was contacted directly and asked to authorize VM developers to add my code in core code.

The VM developers have my authorization to add this code into the core code.

This certainly is a very good idea and should be implemented into the Virtuemart core code (at least in my humble opinion).

I'm using Virtuemart 1.1.4 and nothing yet in this regard...

I totally agree with the poster above - this is a very critical function.

The problem (as i read) with this hack is that it does not work for customer's additional shipping adresses.

I like to give the option to the customer to have their purchase shipped to other adresses than their "home" adress, still i need to exclude some countries from some of my payment methods.

I really hope for a update on this hack, or even better, to have it implemented in future versions of course.
