First of all I thanks everyone for giving some information about the product types and custom fields in this forum. It is more informative. It makes me everyone to get something better. Some of them shares their suggestions with the custom fields. It is very helpful for other person to show some interest.

BTY it might interest people that Jseblod, a general CCK for Joomla can work with Virtuemart. Keep in mind that it works by outputting the custom fields in the LONG DESCRIPTION field along with the description itself. You can template it, but as far as I know you can't mix and match with VM fields. Because of that, I think Product Types (with Mark's addon) are a little more flexible. But if you also need custom fields in Joomla's normal articles, it might be worth checking out. It may also be easier for non-coders if you can accept the default layout...
