Can I set up the UPS module for drop shipping?

I'm considering moving our OSCommerce site to Virtuemart. We've had nothing but grief setting up the UPS shipping.

Here's a reason. We're a Canadian self-publishing company that prints orders on demand and has our US printer ship them.

Trying to get an access code from UPS, I got to wondering - does this module set up shipping with UPS? We don't need that, since our printer ships the books on their UPS account.

I need to know what to charge for shipping from the US, but don't need to place an order for shipping with UPS.

How can I handle this?

Once you setup a UPS account and place a credit card on file providing you dont go through the UPS site they wont charge for anything. I use UPS just to get the shipping costs into virtuemart. I dont go through the UPS site.
