URGENT HELP NEEDED - paypal pro uk mod..

buzzpaul:
Ok, I have so far tried 3 different paypal pro mods - 2 of which i paid for and they dont come back with support questions...

I am runnin Joomla! 1.0.15 Stable  and VM  1.0.15

so far I have tried - http://www.e-commerce-solution.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=9&category_id=9&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=1

This one doesn't work as Paypal tell me they no longer support paypal manager, as this mod doesn't use their API

so i brought this one - http://myjoomlaextensions.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=9&category_id=2&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=61&vmcchk=1&Itemid=61

When i try this one, i get this error when i try to config after added the payment method
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: vmget() in /home/sites/*mywebsite*/public_html/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/payment/ps_paypalprouk.php on line 35

I also get the same error when I try using this free mod --> http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,6310/Itemid,35/

I need this to work asap and am begging someone for some help - I've even paid someone from joomlancers to look at it, but they cannot do it...

Please help

thanks
Paul

I'm in a similar position here having put a lot of effort into building out a Joomla 1.5.7 based site and Virtuemart 1.1.2 based shopping cart. Paypal Pro UK is without doubt the right payment solution for the project but the integration is becoming a nightmare.

Having come close to buying the solutions listed above I noticed the open source module that was released about a week or so ago and have persisted with that one.

I'm not getting the sort of error messages listed in the first post and am able to get through to the confirm payment button but then get the following...
Error: Invalid vendor account
Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_paypalprouk)

This looks promising in that it's indicating the problem could be with the Paypal account configuration which I must admit I've not found it easy to understand exactly what's required in the configuration tab area.

Any help is sorting this out would be much appreciated by me and no doubt the increasing number of others in this forum currently wrestling with similar issues in integrating Paypal Pro UK. If we can prove successful integrations by following certain routes then I'm sure that will help the whole community here.

I've now fixed mine, spent agees on the phone to paypal, you have to log into your paypal account as normal, and then click on profile, then request api details, and request the one on the right and use them details, then mine worked!!!

by the way, i had no support from eaither of the 5 ! paypal pro products that i used...
