Dear all,

I am only using paypal as payment option on my site. The direct html option listed on VM is pretty straightforward even for a newb like me. Basically, the buyer confirms the order on my site, log into Paypal and pay.

But i also need another option, which is for buyers to enter credit card details (either on my site or paypal) and pay without needing to log into paypal. This is for buyers who don't have a paypal account or just simply wants to pay by credit card alone.

In short, i need credit card payment option via paypal for customers who don't have paypal account.

How do i do this? Is this possible?

The buyer can still go to PayPal but use the credit card option rather than a PayPal account.

yes it is possible.

We can integrate paypal pro API plugin to virtuemart component. So customer can enter their credit card details in own site and it will not redirect to paypal site.

Hi!
I have paypal business account. I am using virtuemart with paypal pay method. When a custumer selects paypal he is redirected to paypal site wher he needs to create a paypal account to pay me. I saw that some sites where you are redirected to paypal and can enter credit card and you dont need to create a paypal account. Thaht feature would be perfect formy needs.
Any ideas?

I think you need to sign up to WP Standard (no charge) - in order to accept payments without your customer having a PayPal account. It may depend on which country your PayPal account is with.

hello,

any success? belindab, Website Payments Standard Shopping Carts https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/solutions_carts_wp_standard does not show the VirtueMart cart. a business account should be enough but as reported, it seems to only allow paypal payments and not credit card payments.

i have tried it with a sandbox business paypal account but no credit card payment has shown.

pls, report advance if any.
