Joomla: 1.5.3

After I install it via the administration panel, it says, proceed to shop or install sample data. When i click proceed to shop. I get the following error.

Some Core Files for VirtueMart are missing, but they are required for installing and running VirtueMart. If you see this message it's recommended to attempt the Manual Installation of VirtueMart!

did a rf -rf,

When I do the manual installation, and click Proceed to shop, i get the same error.

Any idea?
