The Virtuemart plugin doesnt install.

I have emailed them but had nothing in any way of support.

I ant log into their website as i forgot my password and the forgot password link doesnt send me an email.

I signed up for 2 other accounts but didnt receive any confirmation emails so i cant sign in.

The website is a joke to be honest (and the forums are dead)

Its a REAL shame as xmap is great but the plugins dont work...

Well, xmap is little triky, you must instal the plugin using xmap installer, and you can see VM plugin only in it's control panel.
The real problem is that all internal links of this component are small, not big and beautyful buttons like joomla. Just try for a while to focus on it. It must work.

Have you tried Livemap? It might be useful to you. Check it out.

Xmap with VM plugin do not work anymore. The sitemap that is generated is incorrect as all links are 301 redirect. Google will not index this.
So far I have also not received a response from Vargas.
Livemap is for VM 1.0 and J! 1.0, thus not useful at all. Alejandro, will you be making a version for VM 1.1 and J! 1.5?
V.

EDIT: Xmap and VM plugin do work. Remember to turn off that cookie check feature or your shop will forever remain just your own as nobody else will be able to find it.

Where can I find that cookie check feature?

Nevermind, found that. But I still can't see the shop categories. Only the content (main menu) items.

I'm using Joomla! 1.0.15 and Virtuemart 1.1.1. and latest version of xmap and virtuemart extension for it.

The categories and products should be visible when you enable the VM extension.  Within the xmap component config, go to the Extensions tab.  Is the VM extension listed at the bottom, under "Installed Extensions"?  Now click the red "X" to enable it.

By the way, where is this cookie check feature that you speak of?

The cookie check is on the "Global" tab (towards the bottom) in the Virtuemart configuration.

Got my website fixed! www.unlock4phone.com, thank you guys so much.
Get a simple conclusion:
1, install xmap componet
2, install the xmap plugin. link:http://joomla.vargas.co.cr/downloads/doc_download/86-virtuemart-extension
3, enable it.(xmap-extension-red cross)

Enjoy!

I can't get the vm url's to show up in the site map either. yes, I've installed the xmap vm extension using xmap install facility. I've made sure the new vm plugin is enabled and i've turned the cookie check off.

I don't know what else to try.   Angry   Undecided

It's not working for me either Sad

OK, I figured it out - you need to make sure you have a menu item linking to your vm products published!

Is this thread still alive. Looking to solve a VM site map issue. I've installed that component but it only gives me the Joomla side of things. No links for items in my inventory of VM.

Hellooo is this thing on? ; )

Where can you get VM plugin for XMAP?

link:http://joomla.vargas.co.cr/downloads/doc_download/86-virtuemart-extension

As you see it's not listed.
