I need to turn off shipping completely.  Everything is turned off except the "USPS Standard Shipping $12.00" example.  I have searched everywhere for that options/settings but am so lost.  My products dont require shipping anyways, so this $12 is pointless.

Someone please help me asap!!

In Admin -> Configuration -> Checkout (tab), remove check mark from 'Please select a Shipping Method'

i am sorry brothers but i have some problems.
i just installed vm with a template quicstart package for joomla 1.5.3
but

this option disappeer for me.
and some tabs also disappeer like "choose add to cart image" under site settings in layout tab.
layot tab not exist. Sad
when i use joomla 1.0.15 it had vm.1.0.15 and everything was ok. but now i have problems.
please can you help me.

I have also had this problem, I removed the standard shipping and I am now unable to add that shipping method or any others and desperatly need to resolve this problem.

any help much appreciated!!
