Hi,

I am planning to use Virtuemart to sell a software product.

The plan is to have a trial verson as a download which is freely available. The shop would sell license keys to unlock the software to it's full potential.

Once the payment status has been updated by PayPal the shop should send out a confirmation email containing the key (read from a file or database table) and attach it to the users account information.

Is this possible with Virtuemart? Are there plugins yet which provide this already?

Or does anyone know of a bette/easier solution for this?

I have this developed for VirtueMart 1.1, it sends the code to customer upon payment, I am sure it can be change to send it after payment confirmation, if you want to help by splitting the cost of development, let me know.

Similar concept

Would it be feasible to upload a CSV file and associate it with a 'download' product id; so that when the download code is sent to the customer, additional fields are also included in the email. i.e. username and password (licence key) to unlock an ebook or other media.

The other addition that would be useful, is an email notifiction to admin when the dowwnolad-info is sent to the customer. Is there scope for this to be included?
