Hi there!  Newbie here!  I wonder if anyone can help me please because I am close to throwing my laptop out of the window in frustration!!

I have set the shipping rates and shippers, setting the correct weights etc but everytime you check out it comes up with the same shipping amount for every item. (one of the amounts I have set) AARRGGHH!!

Any advice please from anyone??!!
Thanks very much

Hi all,

I have the same problem too! I am using:

> Joomla 1.0.13
> VirtueMart 1.0.13a

What I actually want to do is set the shipping to be £5 per item.

I have 2 products and have set the weight to 1.00 pounds (using 'po' for weight code) for each one.

My shipping tarrifs are seup as:

0.00 - 1.00 = £5.00
1.10 - 2.00 = £10.00
2.10 - 3.00 = £15.00

If I add 1 product to an order the shipping is £5.00.   [correct]

If I add 2 products to an order the shipping is £5.00.   [incorrect]

If I add 3 products to an order the shipping is £10.00.   [incorrect]

Hmm - whats gives???  Any help appreciated.

This is so so so wrong - but hey it works!

My shipping tarrifs are seup as:

0.00 - 1.00 = £5.00
1.00 - 2.00 = £10.00
2.00 - 3.00 = £15.00

I have set my products wieghts to 2.00 pounds.

IT WORKS - FIXED SHIPPING PRICES FOR EACH ITEM

Of course - it shouldnt and there is obviously a bug there somewhere.  I have searched on both here and the Virtuemart forum and all I had ever seen were deadends!

Oh well,

My guess is the shipping rates are base on kg, not pound. So there will be discrepancy.

OK - will try using kg's instead.  That would make sense of course - however why do you get a choice of weight units if it only works in kg's?

Or am I missing something?
