Hi everybody !
Anybody knows how to do discount when quantity is going up ?
For exemple : I need different scale of price according to the quantity.
When the customer buy a product alpha :
from 01 to 10 product alpha,  he has to pay 4$,
from 11 to 20 product alpha, he has to pay 3$,
from 20 to 40 product alpha, he has to pay 2.5$.
How can I do that ?

Open the product you want to apply the quantity discount.
Click on 'List Prices' button
On the page that opens click New, the rest is self explanatory.

Do I have to do this on each product or is this something that is possible to set up as a general rule for the shop?
For example:
Let's say that I want to give every customer that buys more than 10 items of anything that I have in the shop a 5% discount on that item.
Is that possible?

I want this as well, but it will be as soon has the customer has more than 15 in total (eg 10 of one product and 5 of another) that the price goes from 30 each piece to 15? Is this possible?

Looking for this option for months now... I want to make a stair with discounts e.g. 12-24pcs 20% discount 25-50pcs 22% discount and so on...

aravot have given a way solving this problem....

Open the product you want to apply the quantity discount.
Click on 'List Prices' button
On the page that opens click New, the rest is self explanatory.

If you make according to the instruction from aravot you will see that it is possible to set the individual price for a range of quantities

Indeed. Tried it and worked well.

It's a pity that it's only possible per product and not for a whole range. Maybe with CSVImproved.

I have made a module which applies discount to all products on basis of product quantity and discount can also be a percentage of total amount but i have done modifications to ps_checkout cant figure out a way to do it without modifying core files

You can post your modification in Development Projects, Modifications, Hacks & Tweaks or donate the code to be included in VM core.

Looks great, maybe you could add a message/tooltip in the line of 'Add x number of products to cart to get y discount'.

Add category/product base discount.
