Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to show only subcategories on main page from a specific parent category. I have four main categories and hundreds of subcategories in each category. I want to display subcategories from 1 category and all other categories and subcategories will be on other page. I am using joomla 1.0.12 and virtuemart 1.0

SOLVED!

I have been having the same problem with this and I finally figured out the answer...and it's really stupid on my part.

1. Create your category (Animals)
2. Create your subcategory (Dogs, Cats, Birds)
3. Create your product (Pitbull)
4. In the Product Information page select all the product categories and subcategories you want the product to display in by pressing CTRL.
5. Click save.

now when you click on Animals all the products associated with Animals (Dogs, Cats, and Birds) will be displayed.
