How do I link a product to its digital download(s)?

Hi!

I am going to sell e-books and I am offering them in 4 formats.
I want to have one listing per book with attributes for the file type.
I want to link each attribute to a download.

How do I do this?
I don't see any options for this, but someone told me that it is possible with virtueMart.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I want to sell items from my virtuemart store.  How do I list or add products to virtuemart, where will I get the products from, where it is available.  If I want to link to clickback, can it be done.  Can I get products from Clickbank?

Adding products is easy but where from to get it?

Please advise me.

Thanks.

the tutorial is great, however it didnt end well on my website.

my website is dstechcafe.com

i disabled my digital products for the meantime because it gives me the ff issues:

1. the download file appears on my description page for the virtuemart product item. this means that my customers can download the digital item w/o even clicking "add to cart"

2. in the case that when cu is done with the payment, on the link sent to the customer's email, when clicked it brings customer to the download area but when the file gets downloaded, it points to the folder and not the file itself, which gives a "octet file ..something" download

additional info:
1.i followed all instruction in the video tutorial
2.i had put a trailing slash on the path directory

i was able to check that the file has been uploaded by using filezilla

please help

hello, I am new of this forum, I have a website where I'm trying to activate the downloads for some educational films with virtuemart. I followed the tutorial and got a good point. But I have two problems the first is the weight of the movie that I can load is too heavy and do not know if there is a limit. The other mistake is that if you complete the order and click on the link will display the error: Sorry, the requested file was not found. Possible cause: wrong path
