What I hate about "paid" products with a pre-determined or "already set up for your viewing pleasure demo"

I cannot demo this product in a real world setting? ie I cannot test it fully on a test server/ live test server as you would, should! I cannot use it on a dev server /localhost/ and a real server, I can only pay for one or the other, if I want both I have to pay twice??!!!I cannot get a refund if the product fails to deliver? Ok well for 68 EU you could sell me jelly beans and call them gold bullion, once the deal is done I have no way to compensation? Is that how you do business? To bad! tough luck buddy, stop emailing me I will email you! Spain's Borders/ rules end where Spain begins, the whole planet works by means of good karma and unwritten rules.Testing...testing 123. nope sorry your new install of Joomla will not accept this module, too bad! you will have to email the dev and let them know it has broken your live server and does not work at all anymore!  in the meantime your LIVE server has broken and there is nothing you can do but pay for support or loose dollars of sales as we could not test it locally first!...I think you get my point!
IMHO this is a horrible way to do business! You cannot expect people to "jump in the deep end" and give up a months worth of Food money to pay for something when THEY HAVE NO IDEA IF IT WILL DO THE JOB! regardless of all the "spin"...

Silly really! I prefer donations, that way if it works I can pay over time or whatever...and I do...
