Can I use Virtue Mart to allow multiple people to sell items, ebay like but not an auction, the prices will be set. The different sellers will full fill the product so I do not warehouse anything. And finally the seller will get the payment and I will take a fee to post the item and a % once the item sells.

I have been searching for such information. I too am interested to do about the same thing whereby I provide a portal for users to sign up and have their items sold. I am just the portal. They sell their things using my website. Basicly, I don't sell products but just a host, a store.

Multi vendor is not supported in the current version. Version 1.5 which is under heavy development will. Release date for this version is sometime this year.

If you want multi vendor capability then use something like X-Cart (not free)
