Hello!

Is this mod working with Joomla 1.0.13?

This mod would be the solution to one of my big problems with virtuemart, that don't  have answer in this forum yet.

I'm using one content mambot in the descriptions of my products, and the problem i that when I try to search one of then, the result was the product with all the description code corrupt. In this code can be seen all the path to my files.

I'm scared...., and I don't know how to resolve this problem.

¿Can anybody help me?

I have installed this mod, I have dissallow to show both descriptions, but nothing happens....

¿What can by the problem?

using the extended searchbot with the featured product module from VM causes some errors checking my site with the W3C Validator:

An entity reference was found in the document, but there is no reference by that name defined. Often this is caused by misspelling the reference name, unencoded ampersands, or by leaving off the trailing semicolon (. The most common cause of this error is unencoded ampersands in URLs as described by the WDG in "Ampersands in URLs".

Entity references start with an ampersand (&) and end with a semicolon (. If you want to use a literal ampersand in your document you must encode it as "&" (even inside URLs!). Be careful to end entity references with a semicolon or your entity reference may get interpreted in connection with the following text. Also keep in mind that named entity references are case-sensitive; &Aelig; and æ are different characters.


The line which causes the error is from extended searchbot which replaced the original VM command.

Help is appreciated.

Hi.

I have downloaded and installed the vmxsearchbot16. But my search result page looks very strange. The result only display an url to an image.

I have searched for answers but I cant figure out how to edit the search result page.

I am using Joomla 1.5.3 and VM 1.1.1 Stable.

Is this a problem with the vmxsearchbot or is it something else?

Hello we are also having a few issues with the searchbot. There are 2 issues.

The first one is that the majority of the product results are showing unknown instead of any sort of descriptive text from the page.

The second issue is that when I put in a really specific string of text that we have taken from the homepage we get about 10 results in the search. The first few are products which don't mention any of the search string words at all. The actual homepage is found but its way down the list. Any ideas?

Hi guys,

I have several problems with this plugin, but the most important would be to fix the broken image tag. I have the whole image tag in the product name like "1. Product Name<img style="float:right" border="0" src="/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/resized/Vitamina_C_1000__48d7c33b3a4ab_90x90.jpg">

The path of the image is fine and valid, but why I have the <img> tag in the name I have tried several templates with no results. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I installed the Xtd Search bot and activated it.
No I do a search with the default Joomla mod_search.

But the search results have wrong Main-Categories by the results.

the result is

Home/Wheels

But the Product is assigned to Category/Subcategory:

Tuning/Wheels

Why is the result "Home" ?
I have no Product Category which is called "Home"...?
