Hi

I have a number of products the more thats purchased the less the price per item.  i.e.

1,801     to  5,000      5p
5001      to 10,000     4p
10,001   to  25,000     3p
25,001   to  50,000     2p
50,001   to 75,000      1.8p
75,001   to  100,000    1.6p
100,001 to 150,000     1.4p
150,001 to  200,000    1.2p
200,001 to 300,000     1.1p
300,001 to 400,000     1p
401,000 to 500,000     0.9p
501,000 to  600,000    0.8p
601,000 to 800,000     0.7p
800,001 to 1,000,000  0.6p
1,000,001 +   0.5p

The problem i have is that virtumart is rounding up the prices to the nearest penny, this is no good as the price is dependent on the quantity purchased.

Is there a way to make virtumart take the prices as absolute and no round them up, because this is distoroting the prices shown in the front end and does not match up with what we advertise.  This is quite urgent as the site has to be live by tomorrow

Any help would be appreciated

Yes another of the MANY MANY issues I see with prices rounding and nobody is able to answer. It just suddenly started happening on my virtuemart and guess what, the developers wont even answer an email. If the developers had the balls to at least put a post on the forum to let us know how to stop this happening it would be appreciated, but it seems they are writing code that they do not understand. Otherwise they would at LEAST be willing to look into the issue instead of sending Autoresponse emails fobbing off people who trusted their product and were let down. This is a VERY unprofessional approach by these people. Do what I did, DITCH VIRTUEMART because it is CRAP ANYWAY and invest in a DECENT shopping cart where you are at LEAST guaranteed SOME kind of SUPPORT. THAT appears to be something the virtuemart developers have no clue about...SUPPORT, HELP, and MAKING THEIR PRODUCTS TRUSTWORHTY!

Here is the Email I got when I contacted the developers: Do not reply this message is generated automatically.

All support related questions should be post it in the forum, I won't be responding to any support related question. (as you can tell not even proper english grammar)

Here is my opinion, you get a bunch of guys, who probably cannot speak decent english trying to program a code that is in english, hence lots of typos in the code and it does NOT work!

VIRTUEMART IS RUBBISH, UNTRUSTWORTHY, UNSUPPORTED, FREE BECAUSE THE DEVELOPERS COULD NOT SELL IT DUE TO ALL THE BUGS, BUGGY, UNSTABLE, CRAP, USELESS, AND A DETRIMENT TO ECOMMERCE!

I installed Web Genie, what a difference, THIS ONE WORKS AND THE DEVELOPERS OFFER SUPPORT UNLIKE VIRTUELESSMART. this post will probably be deleted because Virtuemart developers probably dont really like having their non functional products dissed, but I will say this: AT LEAST WEB GENIE WORKS, THEY OFFER SUPPORT AND ASSISTENCE WHEN NEEDED!

VIRTUEMART SHOULD BE RENAMED: PERHAPS DOESNOTWORKMART
