I hope I'm writing to the correct forum

I have a portuguese on-line shop working with Virtuemart 1.0.15 but the most up to date language pack for portuguese I can find is for VM 1.0.14!
 Is this package good for 1.0.15 (I seem to understand that 1.0.14->1.0.15 involved some changes in the variables for translating?!)

Anyway the package i have (' @version $Id: portuguese.php 1058 2007-11-27 15:49:10Z thepisu $) it's kind of incomplete ( some things still in english). I'm translating as I find them on the live site web pages! (I'm commenting the lines I'm editing, should i post this somewhere?)

thanks and all the best

Hi, you can use the Language Manager for 1.0, for editing language files:
http://dev.virtuemart.net/cb/displayDocument/VirtueMartLanguageManager.tar.gz?doc_id=1616

It will notify missing strings, if any.

You can post the updated package here.

Thanks (obirgado) João and PISU,

I'll be testing this contribution shortly at www.aqualoja.net. I already have a portuguese version from 1.013 portuguese language file with some minor corrections I've made.

I'll be more than happy to make an extra special discount for you guys (should you be interested in racing swimwear Smiley

Thanks, I'm updating package in VM 1.0 revision. However, we're currently focused on translations of VM 1.1.

I'm attaching your language file, converted to new VM 1.1 package format.

Please, if you can, install VM 1.1 RC3, and the new language manager:
http://dev.virtuemart.net/cb/proj/doc/details.do?doc_id=1882

Then, inside language manager component import this package, translate new strings, and export package, that you can reupload here.

Hello,

an inmportant remark in case you did not undestand NIF .

I replaced Fax number by NIF number!

This NIF is the VAT number; I found out that almost no time I need Fax but I do need VAT number and this was the way found to solve that.

best regards

} else if (file_exists( ADMINPATH. 'languages/'.$module.'/brazilian_portuguese.php' )) {

require_once( ADMINPATH. 'languages/'.$module.'/brazilian_portuguese.php' );

feito isso esta beleza.
