For you advanced translation gurus out there:

Is there a way to translate the text on "Return Policy" that is found in the Configuration settings in VM?

Can it be added to JoomFish? How?

!!!HELP!!!
After I've installed Joomfish CE installer and added the files You provided, everything worked. I've translated everything to my second language.
I have a tiny problem:
If I set the position of VirtueMart to left (let's say to first order), every module after it won't display (including everything in this "position", and other "positions" that follow (right, user1, user2,....). It throws out this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in c:\webs\test\joomla\modules\mod_banners.php on line 32

In this case mod_banners

I have Joomla 1.0.11

Grin Everything works great, but I need to translate the parameters within a certain product type (not just the product type).

Is it possible to add this also to the files which we install with the JFish CE installer?  Huh
It would complete the whole translation thing! Shocked

Thank You in advance.

Hi, I had downloaded this file: Joom!Fish-VirtueMart-Support.zip
The thing is that I don't remember where I downloaded it from and the problem is that I am not sure if the file is up to date. So do you know the official file location URL anyone ?

thanks for the link, apart from I do not read cyrilic and the link took me to apage that was not a download page and only in cyrilic. Then I looked at the link you pasted and thought that there was  a typo and tried

http://www.joomla-bg.com/downloads/Joomla/Fish-VirtueMart-Support.zip
http://www.joomla-bg.com/downloads/Joom/Fish-VirtueMart-Support.zip

but eventually found that this worked

http://www.joomla-bg.com/downloads/Joom!Fish-VirtueMart-Support.zip

which is what you had typed but was not recognised in the post as a link. So anyone else if the above link does not work for you in this post copy the whole thing ie http://www.joomla-bg.com/downloads/Joom!Fish-VirtueMart-Support.zip into your browser.

Thanks

Don't know whether to start a new discussion but anyway. I have a huge problem, I installed all the files and the whole Joomfish incl Virtuemart translations worked very good. But last Thursday I implemented a new template for the site and now my translations don't work anymore. The strange thing is that for example the main page does translate but the menu's don't. Can anyone help me on this. The website is www.prodottidinina.com

Hi, tried to use Total Commander 6.55 to upload the language files into /administrator/components/com_virtuemart/languages/ as per IVOs Multilingual Shop Instructions , but the transfer always fails, while not so for other directories. What is wrong with my configuration?

I've used this guide to set up Joomla with VirtueMart and Joom!Fish, but I have one question: when I change the language for the site I do it by using a link that changes $_GET["lang"] and then all original Joomla pages changes the language, but not the Virtue Mart pages? How do I change the language for the VM pages? Please help!

Edit: I think that my problem is that I can't publish my VM-translations - there's some bug there or maybe it's just my incompetence. When I click the publish button, it loads the new page but there's no green symbol. What should I do?

I tried this instruction on mambo, editted all xml files replacing "joomfish" with "nokkaew" but it wouldn't work. Got lots of errors upon install and nothing for virtuemart to be translates in nokkaew.
How can I go multilanguage with mambo/nokkaew?
Thanks!

Hi all,

I recently created a multilingual website using Joomla, Joomfish and Virtuemart.

During my trials and tribulations to get it to work, which can be seen here: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,224725.0.html

The site is now up and running, but I noticed something very strange:

As I started adding products to Virtuemart, it's performance started degrading. I tried enabling the Joomla Cache feature. This fixed my performance issue, but broke my translation for some reason. When disabling the feature it returned my translation to normal again - Very strange.

Has anyone had any similar experiences or does anyone have a solution?

In my case it's important to have the site working at optimal performance, but in both languages.

Does Virtuemart have it's own caching system or caching module??

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Richard
