Hello:

I tried searching the forum, did not find anything on "disable search", so here it its:

I wish to remove completely all search options from VirtueMart, especially the field SEARCH/ADVANCED SEARCH within the VirtueMart component appearing within frontpage menu. I wish to have the component showing categories but not search options. Weird or not - help me do this, please  Grin
This part of the frontpage I wish to get rid of...

EDIT >> so excited to write here, I actually missed the info - I did already try disabling *all* (and I mean *all*) search-related modules and bots - to no avail.

This can be disabled from inside the main Virtuemart module (mod_virtuemart) settings, not in any of the search modules.
