We have a Customer Loyalty program that works as follows:

We manually track returning customer purchases and when they reach a pre-set level of purchases we assign them to a Shopper Group with a fixed discount.  We use 3 shopper Groups, Silver, Gold and Platinum

As a shopper reaches each level they are assigned to the Silver, Gold or Platinum Shopper Groups, each with a different discount %

Shopper Group Settings may be found at:

VirtueMart > shopper > Add shopper group

There is no way to automatically calculate the total purchases per shopper 'out of the box'.  You will have to either track them manually or write a database query

New here - want to ask a question - can see no "post a new query" instructions. Have replied to a random thread. Call me thick (go on).

How do I post a question - simple as that.

Can some report this post to a moderator or simply answer it?

Thanks very much.

Hello.  Having the same challenge finding the "post new topic" or equivalent link.  I did read the help section on posting and the link is not where it is supposed to be.  Please instruct me how to post a question to the forum.  thanks. mack
