I've set up a dummy site and my (potential) client want to sell flags by alphabetic list, so we'd have a category for international and then child categories for countries such as A-D, E-F etc.

However, is there a way of showing a set of links at the top level of International Flags with an A|B|C|D|E...X|Y|Z  type list? (other than setting up the sub categories and hand coding the links in HTML)?Cheers,

as an option - suggest grabbing the menu manager addon from the downloads section. This will allow you to publish the A-Z child categories directly to a menu, and have the complete shop structure elsewhere

Alternatively you could assign a custom browse page for the A-Z categories differentiating them from other categories.

Has anyone tested this in 1.2 or is there all ready something out there that does this for 1.2?
