Hi, does anybody probably know where I can get a sef_ext.php for SEF advanced?

I have contacted the poster in the following thread
http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=71&topic=12970.15
but got no reply.

Is there probably anybody who can provide me with a sef_ext.php for SEF advanced?

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

I copied the file to the right folder, OpenSEF was already configured and working fine. But for Virtuemart nothing happens. I'm using VM 1.0.6 with Joomla 1.0.10. Any others with same problems?

Did you allowed "3rd party extensions" in OpenSEF config?

I have tried this with the file from your site. Not working. I have Joomla 1.0.10, VirtueMart 1.0.6, OpenSEF 2.0.0 RC5 SP2

Any ideas?
URLs for products still show up like this:
/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,1/category_id,11/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,1/

Something else I'm missing?

The URL looks like you did not allowed 3rd party components in OpenSEF config...

Same Problem here. Joomla 1.0.10, VM 1.0.6 and OpenSEF 2.0.0-RC5_SP2 with new security Patch, latest joomy.net file, tried both folders as described in the step by step, and even gave 777 rights to the file - nothing.
"Use Advanced SEF Extensions" in the OpenSEF config is activated
URL is still:
/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,62/category_id,3/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,1/

sort of a stupid question, but I cant figure out how to use OpenSEF or the advanced SEF add-on.  I dont know which area to upload the advanced SEF file and I dont know how to configure OpenSEF so that my url's show category names and product names as it describes.  Is there a tutorial or step-by-step instruction on how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance

So I have Advanced SEF and I want to use this file to get it to work with my virtuemart.  Do I need to have OpenSEF as well?
Where do I instal the sef_ext.php file?

Hi,
I used the sef_ext.php from http://www.joomy.net/virtuemart/ and worked fine.
First you must have an Link from an menu to the Virtuemart (You can put it not Published).
Copy the sef_ext.php file to the virtuemart dir (change permissions to 666).
After turn on the Open SEF, and have "Use Advanced SEF Extensions" to true, then check on Open sef>>Configuration>>components,  if hou have an link to the virtuemart component, and if yes, select "Use Alias:".
I hope it help some one...
