hi, i have been searching the threads for quite a while but can't really find one that can help me.
my company is in australia, we are having successful australian market and now the company has just establish the US market. Therefore, i have a new task which is to enable the US currency for the existing products. What we need to do is just to display the product pricing based on the user option, if not just display the pricing in both currency and having the word "AUD" and "USD" follwing the price.
Can anyone give me any ideas on how i can go about achieving this goal? and does anyone know that is there any existing currency conversion function or module in mambo?

Please help!  Embarrassed Many thanks

I did a double display for local currency and EUR based on a fixed exchange rate. However it requires some file modifications (=tweaking). You can first check on my site http://yamaha.tsc-laba.si (it's in Slovenian, choose something from the right side menu to see how it looks). It's done for Joomla 1.0.4. For 1.0.5 I'm still exploring possibilities to add this in the admin panel to make it easier to administer. Hopefully (if I make it), Soeren will add this to the next version of VM.

Cheers

I'm interested in this too as VM is great but limited when it comes to multiple currency. Long overdue for a  great product!!!

Here's another thread, where I published a solution for vm 1.0.5.

http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=71&topic=15464.15

It's probably not perfect but it's something.
