Hi,
Your hack works on windows IIS??
Because I probe 404SEF and OpenSEF and doesn´t work. IIS doesn´t have the apache mod_rewrite.

OpenSEF now running on an IIS production server.
How to - Activate SEF in IIS using ISAPI Rewrite
http://www.open-sef.org/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,164/topic,1887.0

Have not tested it with the Virtuemart sef_ext,php file - leave that up to you or another VM user.

Well, after requesting your services and additional information thereof and not recieving a direct response, I began to question whether this entire thread was a hoax, particularly since many of the statements are vague and such claims as the abundant SQL querries of Open SEF are never backed up with easily copied and pasted data, which I believe to be an even more assaulting charge on the hard work and dedication of the Open SEF open source community than you claim my sarcasm to be.

Nevertheless, being as astute and adept in your field as you proclaim yourself to be, I invite you to show this thread and its readers your referrenced SQL resource graph for your component as well as Open SEF and SEF Advanced. It is certainly easy enough to do, and it is certainly within your responsibility to back up your claims, particularly since you expect the very same of others - less the term hipocracy be rendered.

Resorting to my memory, I did notice that the last time I looked at this thread, I remember their to be at least one other personal attack on me (a referrence to the mirror), but it seems it has been edited at the database level, since I do not see the edit referrenced upon the post. Furthermore, I don't remember you initially being on the Dev Team.

And as far as not liking the way I laugh, I hereby invite you for a beer nextime you're in California. I'll buy. I'll laugh. I'll like it. I'll enjoy it. Whether you do is entirely up to you, but I'd suggest not being so tightly wound up and self-important, for starters. And since you mention donations, it has not been the case lately, but it will soon be.

Lastly, I have taken note that SEF URLs really do not make that big of a difference with the search engines. There are numerous other factors that have far greater importance. Nevertheless, I'll stick to Open SEF at http://www.open-sef.org/ and leave you to your own devices.

Good day.

I don't understand your intervention....everybody knows openSEF....this use TOO MUCH SQL RESSOURCE...so if you make one sell a day, that's ok...take it...
may be you've never seen the sql ressource graph for this component.... awful !
sefadvance has exactly the same problem...
the url form is not the thing to compare

by the way I DON'T LIKE THE WAY YOU LAUGH...
do you know how many hours I spend to work for you on Virtuemart ?
can you tell us what did you do for us ?

If I spend 2 hours on a htaccess file in order to make your website works, this as a cost my dear...

moreover, YOU MAKE ME LAUGH cause you MAKE MONEY with my job, and the Soeren's one of course...

and you prefer insulting my intelligence than recognize than you make money with our works....

How many money did you donate to our community, did you buy something for Soeren on this amazon list ?

. for thoses who are not interested by my first post STOP FLOODING this subject
if you didn't succed to understand than a specific VM sef dev is better than a joomla+all components sef dev, there's nothing to do for you

. for thoses who were interested, yes it works with joomfish, this is due to the first (and only one) clients, he had to make this website works on english and spanish
just send me mp if you want tips on a how too cause I don't think to sell it anymore and has it's a really good add-on I won't make it public for my business competitor don't use it.

I gave my work to all of you and some little player wanted me to give my shirt...so I'll stop everything...my familly thanks you for giving me the opportunity to quit after 1 year and a half spending a lot of my time making your dreams come true

bye

I read your post dated "Today at 21:45:40" and proceeded toward deleting the content of my previous posts that are not directly pertinent to this covertly commercial thread posted upon this open source site. Keep in mind, though, there is really nothing wrong, in my opinion, with a commercial posting, but in your case, I have taken notice to numerous covert posts through the various forums and threads that were subversive in nature, directing people to your save-the-world scheme, where you seem to have slandered the hard work of others without any subtatiation.

And the only other reason I reverted to deleting my posts not directly specific to the subject of this thread was out of respect for your family, you so conveniently dragged into this thread.

Then, I read the thread again, and there your rant continued uncontrollably, as your nature would suggest.

I can chuckle about the personal attacks, particularly since you don't have a clue who the hell I am and particularly since your pretty damn looney and affirm this fact with virtually every utterance. To suggest "mankind sucks" merely highlights what is already obvious in your character.

[MOD NOTE: Offensive Part removed. Insulting other users is forbidden in this forum. @all: Please stay on topic.]

I like a good laugh now and then, and this thread has provided me with said amusement.

We will try it on one of our sites - prepared to pay $99 for a one site trial version [exchange rate to Euro is punitive]

If it goes OK then we would expect discounts to add to oither sites and be a reseller to our clients
