I need to ADD Romania and Bulgaria as EU countries for TAX reasons... how / where do I do this??

Has anyone managed to add Romania and Bulgary to the list of EU countries?

Check line 2185 of administrator/components/com_virtuemart/classes/ps_checkout.php -- there should be a function 'country_in_eu_common_vat_zone' there.

The above is a quote from Cortana, a few posts above, and give the answer if you pay attention.

This function is available in ps_checkout.php file in Virtuemart v.1.0.10 and v.1.0.15 (and probably all versions between).

My ps_checkout.php (in the end of the file) is modified to include Romania and Bulgaria (ROM & BGR), and looks like this:

function country_in_eu_common_vat_zone ($country) {
      $eu_countries = array ('AUT', 'BEL', 'CYP', 'CZE', 'DNK', 'EST', 'FIN', 'FRA', 'DEU', 'GRC', 'HUN', 'IRL', 'ITA', 'LVA', 'LTU', 'LUX', 'MLT', 'POL', 'PRT', 'SVK', 'SVN', 'ESP', 'SWE', 'NLD', 'GBR', 'ROM', 'BGR');
