I'm pretty confident that the testmode does NOT work.  When I setup authorize.net I use it out of testmode and just reverse my test purchases done through normal channels.

Have you tried it outside of testmode?

Thank you for your reply.

I just tried it in Live mode and same reaction. The people at Mtrex , the reseller of authorize.net services, tell me my shopping cart is not fully integrated with the mtrex gateway and tell me to refer my developer to the API.

Is it the case that different resellers of authorize.net services have different API's that would throw the module off ?

Thank you again. I do have really good news to report. My vendor is just switching me over to authorize.net at no charge! Hurray! The mtrex gateway is in fact a different animal.

I believe I have everything set up properly. Have my API login and transcation key in VM. Have tried in test mode and in live mode, and get the same errors every time regardless of card type, real number, dummy number, etc:

Error: couldn't connect to host

Error: Failure in Processing the Payment (ps_authorize)

Searching the forum brought back no results for "couldn't connect to host."

My site does have SSL enabled but switching that on and off made no difference either.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Gurman,
Is your site sitting on a godaddy server?

When you say blank php.index could you explain further?  Is there a link where we can see it or screen shot?

Hi Thomas,
Here I have the issue after my web site hangs for 1 minute. Yes I’m using godaddy server, and I don’t have any ssl certificate, is that one of the problems.

You are probably having a problem with the CURL.  Do a quick search in the forums for CURL and you will probably find the solution.

not on your site but to access the HTTPS ups site you do have to have openSSL turned on in your php.ini file.

do you need ssl for this to work? i have curl and we're not on godaddy.

i have a ssl but haven't applied it yet figuring we were in test mode.

------

Thomas on your Kustom site you have the hotfix patch ideas but if we're using Joom 1.015 and VM 1.015 do we still need to adapt these fixes to get Authorize going?
